    Καμπινόσπιτο

Known as the Toilet House, this unusual building was designed by Sin Jae Duck to mark the launching of the World Toilet Association (he’s one of the head guys) . Made of steel, white concrete and glass, it looks rather sanitary. If you really need to go, it’s located in Seoul, Korea.

“The fairies really own this house
    or so the children say,
In fact, they all of them moved in
    upon the self same day.”
—Inspired by the House. Mrs Malcolm Mason. 1923.

Originally intended to provide an adequate storage capacity for a basic water supply for Thorpeness village.

Constructed by Braithwaite Engineering Company of London in 1923, it presented Thorpeness Estates with the difficult task of deciding what could be done with such a hideous structure on the skyline. Glencairne Stuart Ogilvie with F. Forbes Glennie (architect) & H. G Keep (works manager) brilliantly disguised it as a house and from miles around one can see what appears to be a cottage lodged in the trees, 70ft high.

This cottage is in fact only the top part of the building which housed the water tank. It had a capacity of 50,000 gallons and was capable of pumping 1800 gallons of water an hour from a well in the re-erected Aldringham Mill with sufficient wind or a petrol engine used as an auxiliary power source in periods of calm. The supporting steel structure was boarded in to provide unique living accommodation below the tank.

                The Crooked House, Sopot, Poland
This house is situated in Poland and was created by Polish architect Szotyńscy Zaleski. Its design was inspired by Jan Marcin Szancer illustrations and the pictures of the Swedish artist - Per Dahlberg.

It belongs to one of the most photographed building in the entire Poland, possesses magnificent curves and a blue-green enameled shingles roof. Actually, it was destined to create the impression of a huge dragon, but it failed. The building is always overcrowded and contains a plenty of shops, cafes and bars. And don’t worry, it doesn’t going to fall.

                  The Torre Galatea Figueras, Spain
Such a gorgeous name was given to the tower (Torre Galatea) where Dali spent the last years of his life. Nowadays, it is a museum. It looks really bizarre with these eggs.

                    The Dog Park Inn
It’s not a problem to stay at a 5-star super luxurious hotel, but why not try such a romantic place as the Dog Park Inn. It is the most recognizable bed and breakfast hotel in Cottonwood, Idaho. Furnishings in the form of chainsaw dog carvings will definitely draw your attention. And by the way, don’t forget to buy gifts for your pets.

                      Το σπίτι του Hundertwasser

                      Hundertwasser Building - Germany
The Waldspirale, or "Forest Spiral," is a residential building complex in Darmstadt, Germany.

The U-shaped building's unique facade does not follow a regular grid organization, and the diagonal roof — planted with grass, shrubs, flowers and trees — rises like a ramp along the U-form. Of the 1,000 windows, no two are the same, and trees grow out from many of them.

At its highest point, the building has 12 floors. The building, completed in 2000, was designed by Viennese artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, built by the Bauverein Darmstadt company, and planned and implemented by the architect Heinz M. Springmann.
